JOB DESCRIPTION

 

SERVICE/MAINTENANCE MANAGER

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for all SERVICE equipment maintenance within the company and on trucks. Includes all hand & electrical tools, service pumps, chemical applicators, & wet vacs etc.
  • Responsible for checking all Technicians tools and equipment on a monthly basis as per tool list signed for by all technicians. Update tool list as required.
  • Responsible for maintaining tools and equipment log book to include logging in and out all Act, Oxy & Nitrogen bottles.
  • Responsible for administration of the computerized service/ maintenance management system Wintac and inputting all job cards on daily basis.
  • Collects all job cards and bills from technicians on a daily basis and enters relevant information into Wintac and provide accounts dept with accurate information for billing.
  • Dealing with day to day operational issues and or technical queries
  • Arranging daily servicing of clients a/c and refrigeration equipment and dispatches technicians.
  • Arranging purchase of materials for a/c installations and maintain list of installation parts list necessary for installation.
  • Maintain up to date a/c equipment pricing and have ready, at hand for quotation requests. To be updated a minimum of every 90days.
  • Reporting to the Directors and office manager any relevant issues and working closely the office team in the dept.
  • Ensures compliance with local, codes related to safe maintenance work practices as outline by OSHA. Liaise with office administrator to ensure technicians are supplied with all necessary Personal Protect Equipment and are trained in correct use.
  • Monitors performance of service technicians and advises on improvements.
  • Report all technician insubordination or incompetence to Directors/office Manager
