Service Coordinator

DIVISION:                    Rentals Division

REPORTS TO:                Division Manager/ Operations Supervisor

 

Position PurposeTo efficiently and effectively maintain status of Rentals service jobs

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Professionally communicates with all customers to provide repair estimates and Technician job progress reports
  • Forwards jobs to the Rental Supervisor once the job card has been opened
  • Liaises with the Rental Supervisor regarding  job status to provide current information to the Department & customers where necessary
  • Maintains the job card and service inputs system in real time, including FTF Rentals & Red-D-Arc monthly consumables 
  • Ensures the prompt invoicing and collections of all completed job cards, damages and follow up on any incomplete job cards in the system
  • Handles customer questions, complaints and billing queries with the highest degree of courtesy and professionalism
  • Places / Tracks parts orders both with the Parts Dept. & local suppliers
  • Follows up on third party repairs / services
  • Continually maintains working knowledge of all company products and services
  • Any other duties that may be assigned by the Management’s discretion

EDUCATION/ QUALIFICATIONS

  • A minimum of five (5) CXC O ‘ level passes two (2) of which must include English and Mathematics or
  • METCertification form a recognized Technical Institute
  • A minimum of two (2) years experience in the relevant field

 

SKILLS & APTITUDES

  • Must demonstrate a positive attitude at all times to the role and to internal and external customers
  • Must be computer literate inclusive of MS Office Applications
  • Must have good written and oral skills  with xcellent organizational and communication skills
  • Must have the ability to display a high level of integrity, honesty, and professionalism
  • Must have good interpersonal skills
  • Must be a team player
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with minimum supervision
