Work Location: Samurai Restaurant, One Woodbrook Place

Reports to: Restaurant Manager & Floor Manager

Restaurant hours: 11.00am – 11.00pm, Mon – Sun

Duties:

ü  Promptly greet, seat and serve customers.

ü  Make sure you are properly presented, with the stipulated uniform and adhering to company’s grooming standards.

ü  Regularly check to ensure quality of guest experience.

ü  Always be attentive to guest’s needs and desires.

ü  Ensure quality and appearance of food leaving the kitchen

ü  Ensure quality and appearance of drinks leaving the bar, you are the last port of call before the customer, the last place an error can be spotted.

ü  Have a comprehensive knowledge of the food menu and be able to make informed suggestions to the guests

ü  Have a comprehensive knowledge of all classical cocktails, signature cocktails, foreign beers and wines that the restaurant has to offer.

ü  Be attentive to guest’s needs and special requirements especially with regard to allergies.

ü  Be knowledgeable of daily specials and offers that are currently running.

ü  Practice good communication skills with team members.

ü  Remove empty glasses, bottles, plates etc from dining areas

ü  Wipe down tables and bar tops.

ü  Maintain a clean and organized work station.

ü  Always have a positive demeanor, especially when dealing with guests.

ü  Inform guests of any 86’d items or items that may become 86’d during the course of the service.

ü  Any other duties that may be assigned.

Requirements:

ü  Valid Food Badge

ü  Copy of ID (to be attached to application)

ü  Excellent Customer Service Skills

ü  Experience is a major asset
