Server & Food Assistant

SERVER & FOOD ASSISTANT

 

Job Purpose/ Objective:

Cocktail servers are responsible for submitting and presenting guest beverage selections. 

 

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

 

  • The right person will gain menu knowledge and give recommendations from our compilation of libations. 
  • Servers engage in casual conversation and must maintain an attractive setting. 
  • Their style and service attributes are key to creating the guest experience.  
  • Servers are expected to present the desired menu item to the guest, quickly and efficiently. 

 

Qualifications:
 

  • Prior server experience is desired
  • Must have passes in English & Maths at CXC level
  • Minimum Experience required
  • Minimum of 2 years server experience.
     

Specific job competencies:

 

  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
  • Refined verbal communication skills.
  • Learns and uses appropriate food and wine terminology and pronunciation to enhance the guest's dining experience. 
  • Becomes familiar with menu descriptions and wine lists in order to discuss items appropriately with guests.
