The Senior Sales Learning Development Specialist is responsible for the development and execution of training programs to the direct sales teams. The job holder will also facilitate continuous development programs and quality assurance strategies for Direct Sales as well as assist in the delivery of Group Learning & Development programmes. He/she is also expected to implement and maintain effective Quality Assurance methodologies. Supervise the Direct sales trainers.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Develops and delivers training plans based on assessed needs of the sales team.
Establishes and reviews course content and objectives.
Conducts training sessions and develops criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of training activities.
Maintains records of training activities, participant progress, and program effectiveness.
Conducts research into new training, educational, and multimedia technologies.
Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
Participates in special projects as required.
Facilitate 1:1 coaching sessions, quality assurance checks for the various sales teams in collaboration with the team's management.
Work with the training team and Sales management to continually develop, evolve and facilitate the onboarding program for new employees
Stand as a resource for Sales and Sales management teams
Assess training needs by consistently shadowing Sales Associates and Team leaders and observing, sales calls, sales transactions, demos and meetings
Review sales performance reports and analytics, collect supporting data and make recommendations for continued education sessions
Partner with Sales Support and Marketing to drive messaging, Sales strategy and overall sales process
Track and report on all training, surveys, attendance, participation etc.
Conducts Train-the-Trainer sessions; observes training conducted by Trainers, providing support and guidance to maintain training standards and ensure success of all training plans and sessions
Effectively conducts Training sessions and assesses Trainees via verbal and written assessments
Host and facilitates calibration exercises and feedback sessions for sales teams positively impact on the achievement of sales objectives.
In conjunction with management, develops and implements Sales Quality Management metrics and Quality Assurance programmes to improve and consistently deliver good responsiveness and quality of interaction with customers.
Develop and enhance best in class Quality Assurance methodologies.
Conducts, facilitates and delivers programmes as it pertains to CC, as directed by Group Learning & Development.
Qualifications and Experience:
University Degree; Diploma in Training and Quality Assurance or other relevant certification
Three to five years' experience in Sales/ Sales Training and Quality Assurance
