TECHNICAL ENGINEER (PETROLEUM/FACILITIES ENGINEER)

Our Client is seeking a seasoned Petroleum Engineer to join their cross functional technical sub-team supporting the Trinidad Asset Manager.

Primary Responsibilities

* Delivering the technical asset and facilities work program and budget, OE targets, and other technical objectives. Manage all subsurface and facilities aspects related to Trinidad, base business gas production, infill drilling, production forecasting, development planning, and reserves reporting.

* Supporting all aspects of Trinidad exploration and new ventures program.

* Executing Corporate & local operational initiatives. Integration of multiple disciplines & field operations to maximize value from the reservoir to the point of sales

* Serving as point lead on Asset initiatives and work with Asset Manager to develop proposals.

* Optimizing of all work plans within asset sub-team to ensure alignment with Asset and Profit Center goals and objectives.

* Providing leadership and direction to multi-functional team of employees.

Technical Competencies:

A Strong Petroleum Engineering or Facilities Engineering skill set. 

Experience in reservoir management, facilities engineering, exploration, new ventures evaluation, and base business, reserve estimation and reporting

Experience developing and driving subsurface work-plans, JV work programs and budgets,

Leading technical assurance reviews.

Ability to interface with Facilities, Drilling Senior Management to support base business in both gas developments

* Demonstrated ability to work with diverse teams in remote locations and demonstrated aptitude to transfer technology, skills and knowledge by training and mentoring technical employees.

* Works effectively with all levels in the organization and partners

* Excellent written and oral communication skills

 

Special Considerations:

Some travel will be required.This position may also require travel to various engineering, manufacturing and fabrication sites. Candidate must be able to support and work offshore during annual shutdowns, installation and commissioning based out of Trinidad.
