Senior Manager, Dispatch & Administration

Unicomer (Jamaica) Limited is seeking to recruit a dynamic and highly motivated individual to fill the position of Senior Manager, Dispatch & Administration. 

Reporting to the Director of Logistics and located at the Distribution Centre, the incumbent will: 

• Co-ordinate key aspects of the Dispatch and Administration functions at the Distribution Centre to achieve maximum output
• Assist with the formulation of long term strategic plans for the Distribution Centre
• Respond to internal and external customer needs, questions and concerns regarding delivery services
• Monitor communication between Branches and the Distribution Centre in an effort to meet the Customer Service Standards established
  • Visit specific Branches annually to build awareness with respect to the delivery process

• Coach and develop staff to ensure achievement of Key Performance Indicators and targets 

Qualifications and Key Competencies Include 

• Degree in Business Administration, Management or related discipline
• At least 5 years as a Manager
• Sound understanding of Warehouse Management and procedures
• Experience in Purchasing or Shipping Logistics
• Strong Stock Management skills
• Strong Leadership and Management skills
• Excellent Communication skills
• Excellent Computer skills with working knowledge of Inventory systems, Excel or other spreadsheet applications
