An International Business Process Outsourcing Company with a US client base is seeking to hire suitable persons for the position of Senior Financial Analyst (SEA). This company prepares financial statements for its clients and provides advisory services that support & enhance financial performance.

Purpose of the job:

The SFA delivers and explains the financial statements and accounting reports to clients, providing consulting to help improve client’s business. Under the supervision of the Manager Finance & Administration, the SFA serves as the primary contact and subject matter expert for the client

Essential functions and responsibilities:

  1. Serves as primary contact for the client delivering monthly financial statements, providing coaching and counseling to business owners and operations managers in order to help improve margins and impact their bottom line.
  2. Builds and maintains relationships by speaking with clients and key stakeholders and providing them world-class customer service.
  3. Calls clients frequently to obtain missing information in order to prepare financial statements on time.
  4. Works closely with clients to solve issues related to complicated financial statement situations, by monitoring finances to aid clients functioning within guidelines, and providing proactive financial analysis and consultative advice to clients.
  5. Collaborates to ensure timely and accurate support for payroll, sales, income tax, and property tax audits where applicable.
  6. Provides professional and timely feedback to QC teams and any clerical staff assisting in the accounting process, ensuring performance within all accounting policies, procedures and internal controls.
  7. Required to drive new sales and business development within current client base by proposing additional services, and maintain an active client base.
  8. Responsible for client deliverables, satisfaction and retention according to company expectations.
  9. As a salaried employee, the SFA is resionsible for comletinq all work in a timely and efficient manner, inclusive of and not limited to delivering financials and holding consultation calls with customers, which may include weekends and evenings as required.
  10. Addresses client complaints and issues to ensure they are resolved according to client satisfaction.
  11. Promotes a winning culture.

Knowledge and Skills:

Required:

  • Degree in accounting or finance or business with accounting/finance focus (or equivalent knowledge/experience), ability to manage priorities and functions, exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, an outgoing, team-spirited and client centric personality, strong experience with Microsoft Word and Excel software.

Preferred:

  • 3 - 5 years of post certification finance & accounting experience. Experience analyzing and interpreting financials. Experience advising based on financials with proven results.
  • The individual must possess these skills and abilities, or explain and demonstrate that s/he can perform the essential functions using some combination of skills and abilities.
