The Senior Field Service Engineer is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of highly complex medical equipment sold by our client ; planning, and coordinating the work of service department; and the supervision of junior field service personnel.
Requirements
Managing all on-site installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks, including but not limited to the
following:
Identifying, analyzing and repairing product failures, ordering replacement parts as required
Diagnosing errors or technical problems and determining proper solutions
Providing service and customer support during field visits or dispatches
In coordination with the Sales Manager, oversee and coordinate the scheduling of field service personnel
who perform on-site routine services including installation, maintenance, and repair.
Maintain control over service and warranty contracts
Produce timely and detailed service reports; maintain records of all equipment sold by our client
Document processes
Follow all company’s filed procedures and protocols
Cooperate with technical and sales team and share information across the organization
Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefings
Build positive relationships with customers
Remain flexible in filling other project roles as required
Minimum Requirements:
Degree in Bio-Medical Engineering is preferable. Associate Degree in an Electrical Field or Technical
Diploma will be considered
Extensive knowledge and training in troubleshooting and repairing complex medical equipment. Advanced
maintenance training on specialized biomedical equipment.
Minimum four years of experience in the maintenance of biomedical equipment or in a related technical field
Knowledge of anatomy, chemistry and physiology as it pertains to the human body
Knowledge of computer hardware, software and programming skills used in the field
