Senior Associate – Corporate Services (Jamaica) Limited
Our Corporate Services practice is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced individual to join our team at the managerial level.
Roles and Responsibilities
The Senior Associate will report to the Director and the Manager in the Corporate Services Division and will include:
Assisting with the execution of Corporate Secretarial duties with respect to a portfolio of public listed companies within Jamaica and the wider Caribbean Corporate Services practice
Assisting with due diligence, quality and risk management procedures
Reporting to regulatory authorities
Attending to incorporation, maintenance and dissolution proceedings
Providing support and assistance in the execution of the share registration practise and all others areas of the service offering of the regional practice, including Corporate Governance.
Qualifications and Experience
A student member of the Institute of Chartered Secretary and Administrator from United Kingdom or Canada
A first Degree, preferably in Management or Finance
Experience with corporate legislation, practice and procedure would be an asset
Strong research capabilities
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
A driven self starter with a proven ability to work independently
Strong people management skills.
A compensation package commensurate with relevant experience and qualifications will be offered to the successful candidate.
