JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Accounting Officer will be responsible for coordinating, supervising and accountable for the daily activities of the Accounting department.
Primary responsibilities include:
Maintain general ledger and all other accounting records and related activities for the production of month end reports
Plan, organize and manage staff in the accounting department
Provide financial support to other department heads and projects as required
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise day to day activities of staff in the accounting department
Review the accuracy of the billings, payables and receivables functions
Resolve any billing discrepancies
Performance evaluation and setting objectives of the department
Support implementation of new ERP system
Support management team in preparation of bids and contracts as required
Identify opportunities and implement initiatives to improve the quality of the accounting department
