Sales Supervisor

Sales Supervisor

The Sales Supervisor provides guidance and leadership to the Sales team in a multi-channel contact center.  The supervisor is responsible for motivating, assisting and directing a team of frontline agents to meet monthly sales goals in accordance with defined targets. He/she coaches Sales associates to higher performance, meeting and exceeding established targets in support of the DSS vision. The Sales Supervisor reports to the Support Manager.

 Responsibilities

  • Motivate and coach Sales Associates to achieve and maintain sales and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets.
  • Develop associates to reach their full potential through continuous monitoring, assessment and feedback while maintaining complete documentation of discussion and actions.
  • Proactively raise issues which may adversely impact the team's performance with the Support Manager
  • Consistently and effectively report on team's challenges & successes by looking at and reporting trends and suggesting appropriate actions to support findings and goals (KPIs)
  • Ensure disciplinary discussions and actions for front-line employees occur in transparent, accurate and timely manner
  • Find creative solutions to effectively address internal and external customer queries and concerns
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude, lead and facilitate change and model professionalism in all contacts with internal and external customers
  • Adhere to, supports and administers the company policies and procedures as defined
  • Participate in cross-functional communications and meetings to support the specified domain and to support other domains
  • Maintain personnel records and other documentation as identified and requested
  • Ensure communication is executed efficiently and effectively at appropriate standards
  • Support and assist with hiring and training as requested
  • Perform additional duties as required

 

Requirements

  • At least 3 years experience in a contact center environment with a minimum of 1 year in a Sales leadership position.
  • Experience in people management, with an emphasis on managing multiple tasks, coaching and motivation in a constantly changing environment.
  • Working knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Ability to manage multiple and changing priorities efficiently and effectively
  • An aptitude for technology learning and the use of multiple systems
  • An aptitude for positioning and closing Sales offers
  • Experience in outbound Sales an asset
  • Minimum qualification of a High school certificate with passes in English Language
  • A diploma in a Business related discipline would be an asset
