Sales Representative

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Preparing and presenting sales proposals to a diverse audience which includes liaising with customers to organize demonstrations, quotations, organizing finance/insurance options, taking orders, accepting deposits and delivering vehicles.
• Maintaining a prospect development system that includes a list of prospective customers and target groups.
• Following up of all sales leads via phone, walk –in customers, referrals as required.
• Delivering  vehicles to customers ensuring that the customer understands the vehicle operating features, warranty.
• Ensuring that vehicles are in good mechanical working condition and are physically ready for delivery.
• Conducting regular follow-ups with customers on warranty and after sales service.
• Preparing documentation for sales transaction.
• Keeping up to date with market trends and competition.
• Attending to floor duties at least twice per week including Saturday.
• Assisting with the movement of vehicles when necessary.
• Participating in marketing activities and events.

 EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: 

• 5 C.X.C. O’Level subjects including Mathematics & English.
• At least 2 years experience in the automotive sales industry.
• A valid driver’s license (both automatic and manual) with a minimum Class III endorsement.
• Good marketing/sales techniques and communication skills.
• Knowledge of vehicles (Technical).
• Must be proficient with MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Excel.
