Sales Representative- Cold Chain
The Cold Chain Division of AMCO is seeking to recruit a Sales Representative for the development of the business within the Food Service Channel and Retail Frozen and Chilled industry.
The candidate selected for the position will be required to undertake the following duties:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Internally:
Determine and establish with the Sales Manager, objectives for new customers and to grow existing customers on a weekly basis.
Provide regular and timely feedback on sales performance, market feedback, new target accounts, and ideas regarding sales growth (trade intelligence).
Check status of orders with Customer Service, Logistics and with other relevant in-house contacts to ensure timely service to customers.
Participate in stock checks when required.
Obtain updates and information on new products; and other information on activities from Manager and or Administrative Coordinator.
May be required to do emergency deliveries to customers.
At the Customer:
Visit customers as per establish route lists and objectives with all relevant information on hand with respect to outstanding credits and payments.
For Foodservice Channel: Review Customer’s Menu for new additions or changes. Discuss upcoming customer’s events and possible items of interest.
At Retail Channel: Ensure all items merchandised as per agreement and that store has adequate stock at all times. Discuss upcoming events and review participation.
Review with customer their stock levels for items that have been traditionally purchased.
Review offers and specials with customer.
