To ensure portfolio growth and revenue generation from assigned accounts and prospects, consistent with both short and long range objectives of the unit and General Finance Corporation Limited.

SALES OFFICER (MORVANT AND PORT OF SPAIN)                                                                                                                                                                                    THE MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE

  • Developing and maintaining satisfactory customer relationships with both internal and external customers.
  • Growing the GFC credit portfolio through sales of all lending products.
  • Interviewing customers for personal loans and retail business, ensuring that the supporting document requirements are satisfied.
  • Completing and analyzing credit applications and preparing written proposals for submission to the relevant approving authorities.
  • Typing all loan related documents for signing by the applicants, ensuring all loan documents are signed by customers and preparing closing forms and vouchers for cheque preparation.
  • Acquiring and maintaining a thorough knowledge of lending products & services, policies and procedures necessary to respond effectively to customer requirements.
  • Adhering to Regulatory Compliance Guidelines, AML/ATF and GFC's policies and procedures for all products and services and customer transactions.
  • Keeping up to date with all market rates and trends in the local markets, as well as other financial information and market products.

 

Essential Job Requirements

  •  Diploma Level in Business related field from a reputable University.
  • At least two (2) years experience in a Sales and Marketing industry.
  • At least one (1) year experience in a Customer service industry.
  • Proficient in use of computer applications in particular Microsoft suite of products.
  • Must own a vehicle.
  • Must be available to work on Saturdays.
