Sales Manager

The Sales Manager is a visionary who can easily influence and lead others to achieve organizational goals and objectives. The incumbent has responsibility for developing, implementing, and achieving sales strategies and goals.

1. Develops a sales plan that ensures attainment of the company’s  sales strategies, goals and objectives.

2. Responsible for the performance management and development of the Marketing Coordinator, Sales Supervisors, Sales Representatives and Merchandisers.

3. Develops sales policies and strategies to increase awareness of the organization’s products amongst all target groups.

4. Develops and implements tactical action plans to penetrate new markets.

5. Conducts one-on-one performance reviews with subordinate staff to maintain effective communications, understand training and development needs, and to provide inputs for the performance improvement processes.

6. Establishes and maintains current client relationships while building relationships with potential customers.

7. Develops and implements an effective Customer Relationship Management system.

8. Conducts surveys and implements sales related strategies based on survey.

9. Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff.

10. Develops and implements special sales activities to reduce stock.

11. Communicates with various media and print houses to facilatate advertising and promotional activities.

12. Conducts event management for seminars, training, sampling, festival activities and new product launch.
