SALES MANAGER
Job Summary:
The incumbent will be required to direct the actual distribution or movement of consumable products to the customer. Coordinate the sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals. Analyze sales statistics gathered by staff to determine sales potential and inventory requirements and monitors the preferences of customers. Establish training programs for sales representatives.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Develop Key Account plans
Develop and manage the annual sales budget and targets
Develop and implement strategies for sales growth for new and existing products with new and existing customers
Actively participate in all pricing related activities including monitoring pricing to ensure maintenance of agreed margins; conducting competitive price comparison
Lead and direct the sales team in achieving targets
Identifies and creates opportunities to initiate new connections (including partnerships) that will facilitate the achievement of strategic goals.
Effectively assigns organizational territory to members of sales team.
Oversees the management of territories within a sales team.
Recognizes relationships and links between own and competitor territories.
Identifies potential for new territories.
Makes long range forecasts and revenue projections for territory.
Contribute to the development of training programs for the Sales and Merchandising teams
Assist in the development or procurement of product displays for the purpose of enhancing sales
Perform other related duties as required by job function
