Position Overview

As a Sales Executive, you help to transform the local business landscape and influence how people make buying decisions. The Sales Executive must have a positive attitude and commitment to providing exceptional customer service with the goal of growing revenue. The Sales Executive actively seeks out and engages customer prospects. You work directly with customers: face to face, over the phone or online sales chat. The Sales Executive is assigned to the Sales Department and executes the Sales activities by performing duties where applicable in the following areas:

1.     Sales Strategy

  • Provides information on sales data, product usage, client activities, quality issues, and customer service issues and resolving problems for the sales strategy sessions.

2.  Product Value Creation

  • Proactively manage advertising packages to ensure an overall great experience with F1RST.
  • Partner with the Product Development team to ensure clients are receiving proper product expectations.
  • Manage the assimilation of new product features and the dissemination of information about updates to clients.
  • Pursue up-sell opportunities.

3.    Sales Channel Management

  • Drive the full sales cycle to attain new business: make introductory calls, assess business goals through qualifying, work with business owners in F1RST platform advertising packages, and close the deal
  • Achieve and consistently exceed monthly sales goals.

4.    Client Account Management

  • Manage clients list with revenue retention and growth in mind while providing exceptional customer service.
  • Constructively deal with complaints from clients.
  • Actively communicate with F1RST finance team to collect and resolve all outstanding payments and subscription fees.
  • Utilise online and offline sources to cultivate new leads and develop/maintain your pipeline.
  • Make a high volume of daily outbound sales calls to business owners across all verticals.

These areas will be executed in collaboration with a professional team selected for this purpose in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment.

Qualifications & Experience

The candidate should have at a minimum: an Associate’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Marketing, Mathematics or related field from an accredited degree-granting tertiary institution. Experience in a product-based or technology-based Sales, Marketing or Advertising environment will be advantageous.
