Sales Development Representative (SaaS Solutions)
Our client is a SaaS startup that offers a subscription-based payment automation system. They have created a payment system that helps businesses who need to handle recurring payments. Their company goal is to develop market leadership in subscription billing.
Job Description
The Sales Development Representative will be responsible for generating qualified leads by:
• Researching targets to identify prospects who could become qualified leads.
• Communicating with the prospects you uncover via phone, email, or other creative channels to connect with decision makers and set 5 appointments per month for the sales team.
• Articulating the company’s core messaging and product offerings in alliance with the brand.
The successful applicant will be supported in the role from two sides- marketing and sales. Each will provide feedback and help to hone the messaging for maximum success. Working high-value leads that have the potential to be qualified will help maintain efficiency in this position.
Will be in charge of managing a small local team to deliver results.
As you grow into the role and develop it further, and as the company grows, the role will adapt and change. Looking for someone who is energetic, flexible, and excited about assisting in the meteoric growth of the company.
Skills required:
Minimum of 2 years in a lead generation/sales capacity selling to medium/large organizations
Proven supervisory experience
SaaS/Cloud Based solutions experience is a distinct advantage
Tertiary level education
Excellent verbal communication skills
Proficient use in Microsoft Office
