is seeking a professional who is a self-starter, dynamic, driven, creative and entrepreneurial. While some sales experience will be an asset, our focus is to develop individuals who have the ability to grow their own business. The following encompasses a cross-section of the responsibilities:
- Development of sales and new business opportunities in specific brands and solutions.
- Development of strategies for account filtration.
- Conducting customer needs analyses to determine office solutions.
- Growth and maintenance of customer relationships for new and existing accounts.
- Preparation of tenders, presentations and correspondence to customers.
- Conducting regular follow-ups with customers and assisting with the collection of payments.
- Achievement of agreed goals and assigned sales quota.
- Keeping up-to-date with market trends and competition.
- Knowledge and/or experience in implementation of IT hardware (connecting printers, downloading applications, software and drivers) will be an asset.
- KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES
- Possession of a tertiary level education e.g. certificate, diploma or 1st Degree.
- Minimum 5 CXC / GCE O’Level passes including Mathematics and English.
- Sales experience will be an asset.
- Ability to establish business relationships at different levels.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong training & presentation skills.
- Ability to develop and execute strategies for account penetration.
- Ability and willingness to learn and apply new technologies quickly.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Possession of a reliable vehicle will be an asset.
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management, outside vendors, employees and customers
- Ability to adapt to changing situations with high degree of flexibility, motivation and a strong sense of urgency.
- Ability to do business process mapping and the use of Visio or other business process mapping tools – this needed for IMAC/D process flow mapping and service delivery process mapping from the start as well as when these needs to be changed to align to customer’s business changes.
- Experience and good working knowledge in sales processes, procedures and management.
- Sound conflict resolution and negotiating skills.
- Knowledge of key financials – P/L, Inventory and receivables
