Sales Associate

Industry/Sector: Distribution and Service

Objectives:

To satisfy customer needs by being a solution provider, maintaining a presence in the industry through excellent customer service and products.

To build and maintain a healthy long lasting relationship between the company and its customers.

To effectively market to the customers the usefulness of our product(s) in relations to meeting their
various needs.

To meet and surpass sales quotas while providing a consistently reliable and pleasant top quality
standard of service.

To be a proactive team member, co-operating with other to meet company goals.

To integrate new and old customers into CRM software and help build the value of the database and its uses.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work towards meeting both individual and team quota.
  • Promote company products and services to result in sales.
  • Ensure the preparation of and issuance of delivery notes, invoices and quotations to customers as needed.
  • Specialize in the knowledge and understanding of the uses and applications of all products.
  • Provide customers with the necessary product information and exude brand confidence.
  • Provide customers with suitable solutions using Company products.
  • Visit no less than twenty five customers per week.
  • Acquire at least 10 new customers monthly and maintain existing ones.
  • Do demonstrations and presentations to market the usefulness/best application of products.
  • Sometimes help to install products for customers upon request.
  • Submit weekly hardcopy reports on daily work done, and daily entry on CRM system.
  • Collect cheques in payment of sale.
  • Advise Purchasing department of restocking needs according to customer needs.
  • Request and distribute brochures, CD’s, manuals, stickers etc. for the effective marketing of the products.
  • Any other duties that may be associated with the general objectives of this job.
  • NB. You will be requested to work outside the normal working hours when needed.

 

Education, Qualifications, Experience & Skills/Abilities:

  • Minimum five (5) CXC/GCE ‘O’ level passes at General Proficiency and a Diploma
  • Minimum of two years sales experience 
  • Experience in the food industry will be an asset
  • Excellent communication skills; verbal and written
  • Excellent work ethic: reliability, responsibility and ability to work
    independently

Compensation Range:

  • TTD$ 5,000.00 - $8,000.00 per month plus commission
  • Vehicle allowance
  • Phone allowance
