Job Title                             Sales Accountant

Reports to                                Financial Controller

Main ResponsibilityResponsible for Revenue Accounting and Accounts Receivable Management

Key Responsibilities

• Contact customers to follow up on Accounts receivables balances
• Visit customers to collect payments, deliver statements and invoices
• Meet with Financial Controller to review aged Accounts Receivable Report, set weekly collection targets and report on collections against target
• Set up customer credit terms and limits
• Prepare month end revenue journals
• Ensure the Fees in Advance, Deferred Income and AR sub-ledger are up to date and accurate at each month end.
• Provide support as required for year-end audit.
• Prepare reports and analyses on Revenue and Accounts Receivables as required
• Manage customer relationships and assist with queries
• May be required to act as a back up for the cashier on occasion
• Responsible for 3 staff

Qualifications and Experience

• Three to Five years experience in Accounts Receivables and Credit Control
• Pursuing a professional accounting qualification
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics GP and CRM
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
• A good working vehicle and valid driver’s permit
• Degree level and/or ACCA qualified
