The Account Executive will focus on proactively prospecting for new business opportunities and up-sell to existing customers. The role involves prospecting, business development, lead generation, account management, client presentations, forecasting and reporting

We are looking for an energetic self-starter with a consultative sales approach who is pro-active in increasing sales revenue. Candidate must be results-driven, have strong analytical skills and be committed to creating new business opportunities.

Required Experience/Skills & Education:

  • Technically inclined with ability to articulate technical products 
  • 3+ years of sales experience (IT or technology sales would be an asset)
  • A self-starter with a consultative sales approach who is pro-active in increasing sales revenue
  • Must be results-driven, have strong analytical skills and be committed to creating new business     opportunities
  • Preferred individual should have professional experience in Sales, Marketing and/or Business  Development
  • Must have exhibit sound oral expression and comprehension, negotiation, listening, and reasoning skills
  • Proven time and account management skills, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Individual should be comfortable selling in a teaming environment with responsibilities for accurate forecasting
  • Demonstrable successful sales experience in B2B preferred
  • Strong work ethic and organizational skills
  • Has a pedigree and proven record of hitting and achieving target
  • Has had experience in prospecting, cold calling clients and lead generation
  • Has experience in account managing clients
  • Has experience of field sales, meeting customers, delivering professional PowerPoint presentations 
  • Has experience in negotiating with clients and closing sales deals
  • Degree or equivalent Certification in related Business or IT field

 Key Responsibilities:

Proactively prospect for new business opportunities and up-sell to existing customers  IT Hardware and Software

Exceed quarterly and annual sales targets and maximize short term revenue

Build and maintain a constant/future revenue pipeline

 Meet / exceed core call time metrics and update/maintain customer database

Develops and maintains a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing and face to face cold calling on assigned clients

Submit accurate weekly forecasts

Manage leads in a timely manner

Create strong business relationships with prospects and existing customers

Recommend the most suitable solution according to the customer's requirements

Keep knowledge up to date on all relevant technologies and meet training targets to maintain a thorough understanding of the products, process and promotions to provide the highest levels of sales support
