DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Teaches at the undergraduate level;

• Assists in curriculum development, implementation and evaluation;

• Supervises students on practicum;

• Pursues higher degree studies and conducts research;

• Participates in various committees at the university;

• Provides service to the wider community through workshops, seminars, and public lectures.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Master’s Degree in Physical Education or equivalent in the relevant discipline from a recognized and accredited university

• Diploma in Education/ Teaching

• Minimum of eight (8) years combination of  professional and teaching experience

COMPETENCIES:

• Excellent communication (both orally and written) and interpersonal skills

• Sound theoretical and professional knowledge of the discipline

• Strong pedagogical skills
