DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Teaches at the undergraduate level;
Assists in curriculum development, implementation and evaluation;
Supervises students on practicum;
Pursues higher degree studies and conducts research;
Participates in various committees at the university;
Provides service to the wider community through workshops, seminars, and public lectures
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Master’s Degree or equivalent in the relevant area of specialisation from a recognised and accredited university
Diploma in Education/ Teaching
Minimum of eight (8) years combination of professional and teaching experience
COMPETENCIES:
Excellent communication (both orally and written) and interpersonal skills
Sound theoretical and professional knowledge of the discipline
Strong pedagogical skills
Responsible and trustworthy; adaptable and flexible; good team player
Strong analytical and leadership skills
Creative and innovative thinking
Commitment to professional excellence and continuous growth within subject field or discipline
