SENIOR DRAUGHTSMAN

Ref: PWD010/14

SALARY: CI$ 42,564-$57,252/US$ 50,671.00 - $68,157.00

PER ANNUM 

Post holder will support and assist the Architects/Project Managers in the production of building design and construction documentation implementation in order to ensure realization of Government’s requirements relative to the built environment.  He/she will provide technical draughting and specification expertise in the transformation of the principles of architectural design solution into the practical and realistic built form.  Post holder will work with and supervise Draughtsman I &II and will be responsible for coordinating their work in relation to project development.  

Qualifications, Experience & Skills – Post holder should have a Degree in Architectural Technology or Architectural Design from an accredited institution and a minimum of five years experience in a Senior Draughtsman position.  He/she must be able to demonstrate an above average ability to illustrate an understanding of constructional techniques and building methodology/detail.  Post holder should have the ability to master computer aided design (CAD) systems as this will be necessary in addition to traditional drafting skills. The ability to produce 3D renderings in a recent or current Archi-CAD version would be considered an added asset.
