Sales Manager

SALES MANAGER

Our client is looking for a Sales Manager who would direct the actual distribution or movement of our product or service to the customer. Coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals and establishes training programs for sales representatives. Analyzes sales statistics gathered by staff to determine sales potential and inventory requirements and monitors the preferences of customers.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop Key Account plans
  • Develop and manage the annual sales budget and targets
  • Develop and implement strategies for sales growth for new and existing products with new and existing customers
  • Actively participate in all pricing related activities including monitoring pricing to ensure maintenance of agreed margins; conducting competitive price comparison
  • Lead and direct the sales team in achieving targets
  • Conducts development and career planning dialogues with employees.
  • Actively and continuously expands own network to meet strategic goals.
  • Identifies and creates opportunities to initiate new connections (including partnerships) that will facilitate the achievement of strategic goals.
  • Effectively assigns organizational territory to members of sales team.
  • Oversees the management of territories within a sales team.
  • Recognizes relationships and links between own and competitor territories.
  • Identifies potential for new territories.
  • Makes long range forecasts and revenue projections for territory.
    • Contribute to the development of training programs for the Sales and Merchandising teams
    • Assist in the development or procurement of product displays for the purpose of enhancing sales

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management/Marketing OR combination of relevant training and experience in the same or equivalent capacity
  • 3- 5 Years progressive sales experience with at least 2 years at the managerial level.
  • Valid driver’s license with a reliable working vehicle
