DEPARTMENT: SALES & INVENTORY

CHANNELS OF

COMMUNICATION: The Sales & Inventory Clerk will report directly to the Sales & Inventory Supervisor and ultimately to the Accountant.

SALARY RANGE: $ 4,000 to $ 5,000 per month based on experience and qualification.

SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Thorough understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Basic knowledge of inventory management
  • Ability to work accurately and within given deadlines
  • Excel and Word skills
  • Ability to participate in a team environment.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS,

AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Knowledge of general accounting principles.
  • Knowledge of mathematics.
  • Ability to understand and interpret vendor invoices, statements, and other requests for payment.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems.
  • Basic data entry and/or word processing skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to understand cash register functions e.g. Void, Refunds etc.
  • Ability to produce spreadsheets using excel.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Manage stock rotation of both perishable and non-perishable items within assigned Outlet/s.
  • Conduct weekly stock checks on a Monday as well as on the 1st of every month and complete weekly stock sheet.
  • Collect and review relevant documents; stock control sheets, cashier reports, chicken sheets and meal tickets ensuring support documents are attached where applicable.
  • Complete ALL shortage forms (both product and cash) and inter outlet forms where applicable.
  • Enter Outlet worksheet figures into excel spreadsheet/s, data entry log/s and menu mix.
  • Periodically conduct cashier and product audits.
  • Receive all goods from both internal and external suppliers.
  • Call in sales and inventory figures daily to assigned personnel at Sales and Inventory Department.
  • Call in goods orders to Sales and Inventory Department every Thursday.
  • Check invoices and outlet transfer memo to determine accuracy with goods received in stock.
  • Submit ALL supplier invoices to Head Office on a timely basis.

 ADDITIONAL DUTIES

  • The incumbent is required to perform any other relevant duties that may be assigned from time to time for the smooth operations of Royal Castle Limited.
  • The incumbent will also assist in the distribution of uniforms and other company related items to outlet staff as well as with any other administrative duties as assigned.
