Main duties

  • Act as a key strategic link between brand building/ development and field sales in regards to planning, strategy and opportunity management.
  • Develop customers and channel (and geography) specific brand trade promotional strategies, budgets and targets.
  • Identify prospects, and opportunities in the nutritional industry and mass market retailer based on industry research and through strategic relationships.
  • Work with store staff to develop seamless, fully integrated marketing plans for top customers.
  • Establish customer specific growth strategies with Business Development plans.
  • Provide top customer input/ insight into brand innovation planning and lead the customer presentation development process.
  • Identify brand Category Management needs and priorities for the assigned brand.
  • Develop, lead and/ or support brand projects as necessary.
  • Serve as the primary manager to lead brand/ store sales communication.
  • Represent Company at trade-shows, talking with potential consumers & retailers.
  • Identify buyers and appropriate business contacts to sell nutritional products at mass market accounts; manage sales from initial contact, to presentation and to purchase order.
  • Build relationships by working with clients to manage logistics, and expand sales opportunities; and by demonstrating client benefits such as increased revenue, profits, and marketing/advertising cooperation.
  • Establish relationships with current clients in sports nutrition industry.
  • Work closely with current clients to manage accounts, expand sales opportunities, cooperate on marketing initiatives, plan promotions, and grow business.
  • Prospect and identify additional sales opportunities to sell Products.
  • Manage and oversee store team while coaching and managing performance.
  • Assist Manager - Pharmaceutical Division & Senior Management in hiring process for available Sales positions.
  • Any other projects and tasks as assigned

 

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

 

  • Experience in brand management, preferably consumer product goods to food, drug, mass channels.

  • Experience with nutritional products preferred but not critical.  

  • Must have experience with promotions, new product concepts, market analysis, and product labeling and packaging.

  • Must be able to work in a fast pace, detail oriented environment.

  • Must be able to meet deadlines.

  • At least (5) five to (10) ten years selling experience calling on national accounts.  Preferably in nutrition industry, mass market, food and beverage sales.

  • Excellent phone and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Proven success with handling top accounts, meeting sales goals as well as leadership.

  • Experience presenting to buyers and decision makers.

  • Ideal candidate will have all of the above and have interest in health and fitness industry
