Retail Account Manager
The Retail Account Manager is responsible for the management of the appointed stores, staff and dealer relationship that fall under their supervision, by ensuring that these stores meet and exceed all targets set by Digicel maintain and exceed the Digicel standard of look and feel, ensure that the staff are well trained and knowledgeable of all services and products offer by Digicel and that they report on time.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Continuously seeks and capitalizes on opportunities to exceed the expectations of customers (internal and external) by placing a keen interest on understanding and effectively resolving customer-impacting issues in a professional and result-oriented manner.
Ensure that all New Retail Channels are visited, weekly, or as per business need.
Inspire teams to deliver measurable results for the stores various business sectors.
To ensure that the stores meets audit standards.
Lead a sales force that discovers customers' needs and delivers solutions to build Digicel loyalty.
Create excitement around products, launches, programs, and initiatives.
Ensuring effective stock management to maximize retail sales, including, product merchandising, promotion, ordering, pricing, range and rotation
To ensure that all stores achieve the Company's Sales Target (Achieves Retail Sales Forecasts/ Targets as per Business plan) pertaining to Prepaid Target, Postpaid Targets, Fibre Targets and Partner targets
To ensure that all stores maintain the Digicel look and Feel (staff & store) regarding well trained staff, Knowledgeable, considerate (ability to up sell Postpaid & and Fibre Products), well Dressed Staff (professional), correct and up to date branding.
Coaches and monitors, and assesses interaction with customers handled by Retail Store Associates, and monitors schedule adherence; assesses training needs of the team and conducts on the job training.
Develops customer service policies and standards and develops ways to motivate team and improve Team Spirit
Manages, analyzes and updates weekly, product reporting tracking sheets for assigned products by monitoring product performance including subscriber activities, revenue tracking, profitability, and competitive activities.
Builds effective relationships between the Dealer/ Dealer Staff and Digicel. And ensure that all stores are up to date and aware of all the ins and outs of the business, by implementing and sharing the Weekly Dashboards and targets.
Monthly meetings to discuss future plans (3 - 6 months plan in place)
Resolves Digicel and Dealer issues and concerns. Demonstrates an understanding of the needs of our
Dealers and is receptive to feedback.
To ensure that all stores follow the correct processes pertaining to Prepaid Activations, Postpaid Activations, Handset only Sales, and other products and services offered by Digicel.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree AND related certification OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
1-3 years experience performing similar role / duties.
Experience in and with the mobile telecommunications sector would be considered a valuable asset
An acceptable combination of academic qualifications and work experience may be considered in lieu of minimum requirements.
Computer Literate in a Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, etc)
