Our client in Bermuda is seeking a Reliability Engineer.
Our client in Bermuda has an opening for the position of Reliability Engineer. This role is responsible for establishing and improving strategies to extract maximum profits from the companies assets. The post holder will act as a technical resource person to ensure plant reliability and improvement. They will also provide engineering advice, training and technical support for asset management and maintenance strategies.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Lead Route Cause Failure Analysis on plant failures and unplanned events
Manage projects and develop procedures to improve reliability
Offer direction to Quality Control/Quality Assurance processes
Facilitate periodic review of maintenance strategies
Oversee the approval process for changes to asset management business strategy
Maintain asset management and work planning data in CAMS (e.g. Maximo) Analyze the downtime and loss reporting system to provide insight into areas of improvement

Continually bring leading edge solutions to maintenance and reliability via ongoing professional development
Liaise with suppliers and contractors regarding reliability
Key Job Requirements:
Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree from a recognized University or equivalent qualification, satisfying the requirement for registration as a professional or chartered engineer
A minimum of 7 years professional experience with 5 of those years in the reliability engineering field
Strong experience in leading Root Cause Analysis workshops from conception to conclusion
Experience in operations, maintenance and trouble-shooting of power generation and distribution systems
Proven track record of industrial project management.
