Regional Supervisor

This position reports to the Operations Manager and is primarily responsible for providing support to the achievement of the company’s goals and objectives through effective management of the assignment branch offices as it relates to the provision of efficient client services.

The incumbent will be required to utilize his/her proven expertise to:

• Provide prompt and quality Customer Service by projecting and demonstrating high level of professionalism, courtesy and initiative in accordance with established guidelines and policies.
• Pursues the Sales of the company’s products and supports the efforts of branch staff, brokers, agents and agencies in achievement of departmental and company objectives for quality portfolio growth. This includes auditing of branches, agents and agencies.
• Ensure the provision of required Support and Services to clients in the development of new business, cross selling and retention/satisfaction of current customers. Maintains close relationships with a view toward increasing the portfolio of quality business and ensures effective communication with other departments.
• Assist in the preparation of Branch Plans, including budgets, goals and objectives, taking into consideration the Company’s strategic Objectives.
• Ensures the prompt Reporting and Processing of Business transacted by Branches and department staff; as well as timely completion of Branch Office Administration encompassing clear case underwriting , New Policy Maintenance and Premium Processing
• Identifies needs and implements appropriate Sales and other Training for department staff in collaboration with Client Services Manager
• Monitors and administers policies and procedures related to the conservation of clients, including those dealing with Lapses, Surrenders, Maturities and Expires, Reinstatements and Orphan Policy Retention.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 5 Ordinary level passes, including Mathematics and English
• Degree/Diploma in Business Administration or related field
• Professional Insurance qualifications such as A.C.I.I., A.R.M. Or Diploma in Insurance would be an assets.
• Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, and other operating software relevant to the department.
• Training in Customer Services procedures and policies.
• Good selling, Marketing, planning and budgeting skills 
• At least 5 years’ experience in insurance background, of which at least three should be at a supervisory level
