We are currently inviting applications for a Regional HR Manager - Eastern Caribbean

Reporting to the Group HR Director and being part of the HR Leadership team, the Senior HR Business Partner will be responsible for all facets of  HR in the Eastern Caribbean cluster of markets - HR strategy and tactical/ operational. You will implement, optimize and lead best in class policies, procedures, systems and practices in all aspects of the employee lifecycle i.e. Communications, Organizational Design, Recruitment & Selection, Compensation & Benefits, Training & Development and Employee Relations

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead HR strategy and implementation for a cluster of markets.
  • Recruitment and selection for Senior and Executive level employees.
  • Offer expert legal, generalist and best practice HR advice  and deal with all employee relations matters
  • Implement, maintain and optimize HR best practices in line with Digicel's vision & values and ensure consistent application across the region.
  • Manage and develop a team of HR professionals and succession plans.
  • Implement, maintain and enhance the Digicel Performance Management systems and practices, providing coaching and assistance as required.
  • Annual succession and training planning.
  • Implementation and application of a new compensation strategy and drive appropriate interventions where necessary. .
  • Effective management of Company Discipline and Grievance handling procedures.
  • Manage annual employee engagement surveys, rewards programmes, benefits packages and build a vibrant Digicel culture.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Degree in Human Resources Management or related discipline is essential
  • Minimum 6 years HR  experience at least three years at senior  level ideally in an international company or cross tertiaries. Telecommunications experience a plus.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills across different geographical locations and cultures
  • Ability to deliver in a matrix environment with a culture individual accountability and team performance
  • Track record in effective HR Management ability to manage in a fast paced environment.
  • Proven experience of leading all aspects of the employee lifecycle
  • Must have a thorough understanding of HR best practices and able to manage coach and develop a team
  • Must have a willingness for significant business travel and be very culturally adaptable.
