Responsible for the overall operation of the venue and all profit centers – restaurant, bar, retail store, attraction and nightclub. Coordinates all facets of day-to-day operations including food & beverage service, financials, forecasting, recruiting, scheduling, entertainment, sales, marketing and guest services, to ensure positive performance to budget and standards.

Accountable for the efficiency and  profitability of the venue and the development of the team

 

A successful RM is expected to:

  • Be hands-on, guest sensitive and employee aware
  • Provide leadership for employees through effective communication, coaching and training
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Be able to interact professionally and personably with venue employees, local business community and corporate executives
  • Handle a heavy workload with multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Have good judgment and decision making abilities

 

The Ideal RM will possess:

  • Three to five years experience in a high volume Food and Beverage outlet in a Senior Management position
  • Adequate knowledge and experience in creating and interpreting financial reports (i.e. F&B costs, Labor Costs, Sales reports, Product-Mix reports)
  • A proven track record of training and developing employees
  • Tertiary level education
  • Solid guest service experience
  • Experience working in Jamaica or the Caribbean
