4. ORGANISATIONAL RELATIONSHIP The Radiographer I will report to the Radiographer II or Sonographer (according to assignment). | 5. NATURE & SCOPE To perform all types of routine X-Ray examinations independently and supports senior staff in specialised areas. Undertakes all general radiographic procedures throughout the Institution.

6. SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES The Radiographer would be required to:

KEY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES § Excellent communication and interpersonal skills § Ability to handle information systematically and in a confidential manner. § Ability to work with people and develop and maintain productivity relationships. § High quality of X-Ray film produced. § Efficient throughput of radiology patients. § Knowledge of the effects of radiation. § Knowledge of various types of films, chemicals processing equipment and procedures. § Ability to understand and interpret doctors’ request for X-ray examinations. § Radiographic techniques to envisage all body structure.
