Quality Assurance Dispatchers
Job Summary: The Quality Assurance Dispatcher works in the Service Department and ensures that effective communication is maintained between technical and administrative staff throughout the service process. He/she must monitor the flow of work in the Service Department and assist with the general operations of the Service department, with the aim of ensuring efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Main Duties / Responsibilities
The following is a summary of the main duties:
1) To ensure that repair work is completed within scheduled time and time promised for delivery to the client.
2) To inspect and/or road test vehicles as needed to confirm complaint or malfunction or other service needs ofthe clients.
3) Assign jobs to technicians as per established guidelines and procedures
4) To ensure that parts are available as needed and jobs have been completed as instructed
5) Manage the scheduling and dispatching of repair work to various stations
6) To liaise and maintain good relationships with subcontractors, technicians and the Service Department
7) To provide status updates on all repair work as per established guidelines and procedures.
