QUALITY INSPECTOR

The Quality Inspector supports the organizational quality goals by carrying out both quality inspections and quality audits on the company’s aircraft in accordance with the TTCAR’s and current industry audit practices and procedures

Key responsibilities

• Plans and executes quality inspections and audits in accordance with the audit plan. 
• Documents audit results and reports non-compliances to the Quality Manger.
• Reports to the Quality Manager, any obstacles or problems encountered during the execution of an audit.
• Monitors compliance with, and adequacy of, the procedures required to ensure safe operational practices and airworthy aircraft of the organization.
• Verify that standards required by the Authority and any additional requirements defined by the organization are carried out by monitoring activities in the field of maintenance.
• Maintain an up to date knowledge of aircraft maintenance and airworthiness legislation and best industry practice as it affects the safe operation of the company’s aircraft.

Requirements:

• Five (5) C.X.C/G.C.E passes including Mathematics and English.
• Any related courses in Quality Auditing Techniques.
• National Technician’s Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology or acceptable equivalent of these qualifications.
• Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s License or acceptable equivalent.
• At least five (5) years’ experience in Aviation maintenance related activities.
• Demonstrable knowledge of S76 and BO 105 aircraft and its related manuals and systems.
• Knowledge of applicable TTCARs.
• Must have demonstrated knowledge of aircraft systems, subsystems and component replacement.
