Purchasing & Inventory Assistant required to provide support to the team.
Bryden pi Limited is seeking to recruit a suitable candidate to lend support to the Purchasing department for the following position:
PURCHASING & INVENTORY ASSISTANT
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of Costing
- Preparation of purchase orders
- Updated of A/P and landing charges and Hand written cheques
- Liaising with Stock Auditor and Warehouse Personnel dealing with
- inventory issues whereby adjusting stock inconsistencies
- execute stock adjustment for damages & short shipments
- Claims – preparing & follow up to resolve with suppliers
- General training
- Co-ordination with divisional managers
- GL account Reconciliation
- Any other related duties
Qualification and Experience
- 5 O’level passes including Math and English
- Must have experience in Costings / Logistics
- Experience in a demanding fast pace environment will be an asset
- Computer literate particularly Microsoft Excel
- Ability to meet strict deadlines
- Ability to work both independently and as a team member
- Must possess excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of logistics procedures and shipping documentation will be an asset
