Project Manager, Natural Gas Storage:
The Project Manager, Natural Gas Storage is primarily responsible for managing all aspects of the natural gas storage project. This includes, but is not limited to, all activities and requirements for the purpose of reducing the impact of short-term natural gas supply-demand imbalances. The Project Manager (PM) will develop a plan for, facilitate and supervise the daily progress of the project. The ability to work with a multidisciplinary team is critical to ensure on-time and within budget delivery of all project outcomes. You will also be a strong relationship manager having to work closely with regulatory bodies, suppliers and vendors to ensure that all statutory and contractual obligations are met as agreed to and to mitigate any risks identified that may delay the on-time completion of the project.
The minimum requirements for the position are:
A first degree in Petroleum Engineering, Reservoir Engineering, Petroleum Geoscience, Petroleum Geology or any other related discipline.
Registered Professional Engineer
Professional Certificate in Project Management.
Minimum Experience:
Ten (10) years Engineering experience
Five (5) years Engineering experience in oil/gas production or in a reservoir related field
Proven experience as a Project Manager with the ability to identify risks and proactively plan for their mitigation
Contract Management, preferable on major projects
Able to use technology for analysis, research, reporting and presenting.
You are expected to be mature, trustworthy, facilitative, an effective manager and able to recognize, motivate and develop talent. Proven ability to lead a multi-disciplinary and diverse team is highly sought. To be successful, you are required to be innovative, an experienced negotiator, effective communicator and contract administrator able to work in a fast-paced and multi-disciplinary environment and who practices effective stakeholder management.
