PROJECT COORDINATOR (GRADE 10)
DIVISION OF FACILITIES MANAGEMENT
Applications are invited for the post of Project Coordinator (Grade 10), in the Division of Facilities Management.
Duties of the post include:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Candidates should possess knowledge of facilities planning and building construction processes, procedures, materials and methods. Applicants must have knowledge of estimating, budgeting and scheduling practices, building codes and standards of practice. Specialized skills in reading, interpreting plans and specifications and comparing them with construction in progress are required. Applicants must have skills in construction inspection and be able to observe work in progress to gauge timelines, conformance with requirements and acceptable workmanship. Applicants must have a working knowledge of business application software including Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio and AutoCAD. Applicants must be willing to work flexible hours including weekends/ public holidays when required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
A National Engineering Technician Diploma in Civil Engineering, a City and Guilds Engineering Diploma or Civil engineering Technician Diploma.
Desirable:
A BSc in Civil Engineering or a Certificate in Project Management will be an asset.
Experience:
Required:
At least five (5) years’ work experience in a construction environment or five (5) to seven (7) years of progressively responsible construction experience.

Salary will be fixed in accordance with Grade 10 of the salary scale ($9,795.00 - $12,563.00)
