The primary objective will be to manage effective communications throughout the organization on both the program office and the day to day programs managed through the program office

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND DELIVERABLES:

 The individual will be expected to carry out the following:

  • Drive the program communication plan of each program within the Program Manage Office (PMO)
  • Develop and implement an education program throughout the organization on the activities of the PMO
  • Develop communications stakeholder lists and coach Program Directors and Managers on effective stakeholder engagement for the lifetime of their programs
  • Manage to agreed budgets
  • Introduce program communications as a key function of the LIME delivery framework and ensure that necessary checklists are adhered to and followed
  • Provide weekly updates and report feeling into weekly operations and delivery board meetings
  • Prepare for and participate in monthly performance reviews relating to all projects and programmes within the portfolio
  • Develop relationships with and interface with external groups and chapters such as Program Manage Institutions (PMI) and ensure that LIME PMO is seen as a key member of these charters
  • Manage application for awards managed by Program Management Institutions 

EXPERIENCE  AND QUALIFICATION:

 Degree and or certification as noted below:

  •  Minimum of 5 years proven experience gained as a communications specialist preferably within a telecoms environment
  • A Bachelor's of Science degree to be able to meet the intellectual demands of the job; and/or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrable track record of successful delivery of strategic marketing and communications programs in large scale, socio-economically diverswe, multi-cultural, and disparate markets.
  • Recognized project management certification.
  • Ability to motivate and manage multi-functional teams

  •  High level of Business acumen and professionalism
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing and interpersonal skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Bias for Action and Results.
  • High degree of organizational awareness and political sensitivity (how to get things done by ensuring local touch and regional focus).
  • Ability to quickly establish credibility with business leaders at all levels within the organization throughout the Caribbean
  • Highly flexible style to meet the needs and expectations of very different levels within the organization.
