Job Summary
The position supports the Team Lead (Contracts Management Office) in working with clients of the National Information and Communications Technology Company Limited (iGovTT), such as the Government Ministries and non-government clients, ensure the satisfaction of contractual obligations, document, rate and assess vendor performance and verify contract payment, execution and closure or termination. The incumbent also assists in ensuring that all processes are efficient and clearly defined and that vendor relationships are managed in the best interest of all parties involved.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Reviews simple to semi-complex contract issues and prepares contract modifications;
Analyzes significant, and/or unique contract requirements, special provisions, terms and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, and corporate policies and business unit procedure;
Participates in the negotiation of simple contracts
Review Request for Proposals (RFP’s)
Supports internal business teams and contract subordinates on corporate goals and objectives relating to contract activity;
Contributes to the preparation of contract management reports, such as contract performance, contract status, risks, customer satisfaction issues, and vendor ratings and presents same to all relevant stakeholders;
Contributes to the identification, development and implementation of new contract policy and processes;
Engages in contract close out including identifying, memorializing and disseminating best practices and lessons learned and performing contractor assessment from a contracts management perspective;
Prepares surveys and instruments for the evaluation of the performance of Vendors and keeps a system for rating same;
Ensures that all documents pertaining to the work done in the Contract Management Office are properly documented and filed.
Be aware of environmental changes that may affect aspect of contract execution, and recommends adjustments
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
At least three (3) years’ experience in a Procurement and / or Contracts Management function for a medium to large organization.
One to two years’ experience with Public Sector Accounting and/or Administration would be advantageous
Demonstrated experience procuring ICT related goods and services.
Basic negotiating skills.
Good interpersonal skills.
Experience in contract management.
Required Competencies, Skills and Abilities
Degree in Business Management and/or Procurement Management
