Buying Supervisor

 Applications are invited for the position of Product Supervisor for our Purchasing Department.

The Buying Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that products are available in stores as per range plan and are displayed in a manner that will be attractive to customers.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITES:

• Conducts market research on new market trends, new products being released and what items are no longer attractive to consumers

• Analyzes past performance trends and forecasts future for changes with respect to any items or merchandise in the market 

• Ensure data accuracy on the operating system is maintained on all items sold such as description of item, supashield, prices, etc.
•  Visits stores to ensure products are in the store and merchandised

• Reviews competitors pricing to see what stands out with the current pricing of their merchandise

• Conducts product training in conjunction with training team

• Preparation of nominations for ads and brochures ensuring accuracy in description and pricing of products. 

• Preparation of monthly reports ensuring accuracy of all information
