The Pre-Sales Consultant will be responsible for preparing technical proposals (hardware and software solutions) according to clients' specifications (RFC's and RFP's) through the selection of Digicel's strategic partner's products. He / She will validate the technical solutions to ensure sales quality, customer satisfaction and company standards. He / She will serve as an expert in all aspects of designing and application/solution development as well as provide assessment on complex projects as deemed necessary.
KEY FUNCTIONS:
  1. Continuously seeks and capitalizes on opportunities to exceed the expectations of customers (internal and external) by placing a keen interest on understanding and effectively resolving customer-impacting issues in a professional and result-oriented manner.
  2. Develops technical proposals according to client's RFQ's, RFI's and RFP's.
  3. Prepares the descriptive proposals of the different projects to be presented, including scope of the project, task/activities and implementation schedule.
  4. Jointly with Account Executive, ensures that the proposals are within the company's gross margins and other financial targets.
  5. Analyzes price and prepare costs estimates, once the scope and technical configurations are defined.
  6. Responsible for Pre-Sales for Cisco and Avaya Unified Communications.
  7. Responsible for Pre-sales for Cisco Routing and Switching Solutions
  8. Responsible for Pre-sales for Datacenter solutions
  9. Responsible for Pre-sales for Digice's Cloud PPBX solution
  10. Provides technical support for accounts in assigned territory.
  11. Performs technical presentations for customers, partners and prospects.
  12. Assists with the development of formal sales plans and proposals for assigned opportunities.
  13. Request and send information to clients for their RFPs, RFIs and RFQs, to ensure that project scope, assumptions and specifications are clear and defined.
  14. Coordinates and holds working meetings with Account Manager and clients, as part of the development of the technical proposal.
  15. Chooses Digicel strategic partners products that better fit to clients requirements.
  16. Participate in the selection of vendors through active participation in the company technical committees.
  17. Transfers information's to the project Managers and Leaders of the different projects for its executions
  18. Provides technical know-how to the Account Manager and other members in the team
  19. Carries on technical marketing activities, such as: presentations, demos and introduction of new technology
  20. Continually meets the clearly defined KPI's set out by your manager aligned to the company's goals and objectives
  21. Ensures that new technologies are added to the company's solutions through its inclusion in the different manufacturer's lines of products.
  22. Develops and maintain relationships with vendors and manufacturer contact (Cisco, Avaya, VMware, Fortinet, Checkpoint, Distributors)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Engineering.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience with Pre Sales in Cisco unified Communications and routing and switching.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience with Presales in datacenter solutions (Servers, Firewall, Virtualizations)
  • Solid Cisco voice skills (Call Manager, Unity, UCCX, Telepresence).
  • Hold a CCNA certification. CCNP/CCDP would be considered a valuable asset
  • Experience in Avaya Voice and Scopia solution design would be considered a valuable asset
  • Solid Knowledge in Avaya Communications Solution ( IP office, Aura, etc)
  • Experience in and with the mobile telecommunications sector would be considered a valuable asset.
  • An acceptable combination of academic qualifications and work experience may be considered in lieu of minimum requirements
