Pharmacist II

The Pharmacist II will report to the Pharmacy Supervisor at the Sangre Grande Hospital and the Pharmacist III in the county.

NATURE & SCOPE

The Pharmacist II is responsible for the operation of a dispensary in a moderate-sized hospital or health centre(s). He/She also performs dispensary duties where work involves a variety of duties including supervision of ordering, issuing and maintenance of an adequate supply of stocks. Work is performed independently in accordance with professional standards and is subject to review by a superior officer for quality and adequacy of service.

MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

• B.Sc. in Pharmacy from a recognized University. • Registered as a licensed pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Trinidad & Tobago.

• Annual practicing certificate from the Pharmacy Board of Trinidad & Tobago.

• Experience in the field for at least three (3) years.
