Job Summary:

Ensure customer inquiries and complaints are addressed, policies, goals and procedures are established and implemented while providing the necessary support and assistance to the Pharmaceutical Division Manager and supervision and direction to the Sales team.

Responsibilities

Key Areas:

  • Assist the Pharmaceutical Division Manager in leading, directing and motivating the sales team in order to achieve the overall corporate sales objectives.
  • Assist the Pharmaceutical Division Manager in revising and implementing the sales strategy. Ensure payments collection via sales team is within the policy of the Company.
  • Initiate and coordinate the development of action plans to penetrate new markets and new channels. Propose credit limit, credit terms and payment terms for new customers for management approval and revision for existing customers should there be need.
  • Assist the Pharmaceutical Division Manager in generating sales opportunities by identifying appropriate business targets.
  • Assist with the management of Key Accounts (sales, promotions and collection).
  • Monitor and provide feedback on market activities and trends. Provide competitive data (pricing, sales volumes and potential, etc.) for new and existing products quarterly basis.
  • Communicate all employee relations issues, concerns, and incidents to Pharmaceutical Division Manager.
  • Manage the efforts and activities of the sales team in alignment with the sales goals, revenue objectives and payment collection.
  • Supervise sales staff, including recruitment, termination, training, performance evaluations, work allocation and conflict resolution.
  • Analyze the effectiveness of sales programs; recommend and implement changes based on findings
  • Monitor sales staff reports and account receivables. Ensure feedback is given on trade visit reports and payment collection to sales team fortnightly basis.
  • Ensure customer requests, enquiries and complaints are well attended and responded to in a timely manner.
  • Assist the Pharmaceutical Division Manager in implementing strategic plans for the sales function; administer practices and procedures to enhance operations.
  • Assist the Pharmaceutical Division Manager in developing and implementing distribution strategies, reselling agreements and other growth opportunities.
  • Develop, manage and nurture new business accounts and partnerships to accomplish profit goals.
  • Provide input from the sales team for the collaboration of strategic and tactical planning processes of the sales department.

 

Environmental Health & Safety:

In accordance with the Safety and Security procedures, the designate hereby agrees to comply with the safety and security procedures of company and its customers, and further agrees to comply to the Occupational Safety and Health procedures in accordance to the law of the Land as indicated and referred to in the employees handbook.

 

Other:

  • Assist the Pharmaceutical Division Manager when necessary.
  • Perform any other related duties that may be required from time to time

 

Minimum Educational/Training Requirements:

  • 2-3 years sales experience
  • Degree in Business or Management, preferred but not essential
