- The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years' experience as a Paralegal in a busy Banking and Trust environment with a high volume workload.

On behalf of our leading client, a successful law firm on island, we are looking for 2 Trust and Banking Paralegal.
About the position/ Key responsibilities:
As a Paralegal you will be responsible for dealing with incoming queries via post, telephone and email such as responding to requests for information, producing witness statements and responding to any claims or complaints. Other responsibilities will be to research any new legal or regulatory matters and update the Legal team accordingly by producing guidance sheets.
You will also provide more general administrative support to the Legal team including updating the work schedule, maintaining the department's filing systems, producing ad-hoc Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations, maintaining the contract data-base as well as producing various legal documents for example NDA's and Settlements letters.
Ideal candidate:
- Background and proven experience in Banking and Trust
- Previous Paralegal experience
- Degree and LPC pass plus at least 1 years post LPC experience
- Efficient at using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent typing ability, or Touch typist
- Outstanding attention to detail and a high level of discretion
Experience of working in an in-house legal environment and of following and/or implementing new processes is expected. You should be keen to learn and be comfortable in a continually changing commercial environment.
