PROJECT OFFICER
JOB SUMMARY
The Project Officer reports to the General Manager or designee of the Board of the Trinidad & Tobago Fashion Company Ltd. (FashionTT), a subsidiary of CreativeTT, and is responsible for the coordination, implementation, management, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting on all projects/programmes undertaken by the Company.
MAIN DUTIES
Operations:
General administration of projects for review and approval by GM/Board of Directors
Facilitating the procurement of sub-contractors/suppliers for successful implementation of projects.
Procure and submit quotations and invoices and maintain accurate, up-to-date project expenditures and adherence to project budget.
Manage Media/Press releases and liaising with Government regulatory entities and authorities.
Organize workshops, conferences, seminars and training events as necessary.
Project-Related:
Develop in-house projects/programmes that are in-line with the Strategic Direction of the Company.
Define project scope and tasks, resource requirement, goals and deliverables and manage the planning, budget and timelines, co-ordination and implementation of projects.
Manage projects and project team(s), specifically:
Plan and schedule project timelines and mobilisation of implementation teams.
Monitor deliverables from consultants/contractors for accuracy, efficiency and validity.
Co-ordinate project logistics.
Develop Project Outlines/Proposals and Budgets.
Manage/Oversee Project Performance + Outcomes.
Submit Performance / Outcome Reports.
MINIMUM ACADEMIC EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING
Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management and/or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum five (5) years relevant work experience.
Project Management certification considered an asset.
Knowledge of a foreign language will be an asset (Preferably Spanish)
