DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Terminal degree in Fashion/Design or closely related field from a recognized and accredited university
Minimum of twelve (12) years experience in the professional field of Fashion and Design with five (5) years or more teaching experience in higher education
Demonstrated professional activity (portfolio, collections, and presentations at conferences) at local and international level events exemplified in a portfolio and dossiers that capture collections
COMPETENCIES:
Ability to develop and maintain an active network of industry contact that is synergistic and complementary to the Fashion and Design programme
Demonstrated expertise (theory and practice) in the subject field or discipline
Excellent communication (both oral and written) and interpersonal skills
Sound pedagogical skills
Strong analytical and leadership skills
Creative and innovative thinking
Demonstrated commitment to professional excellence and continuous growth within the subject field or discipline, including advanced teaching methods to support student learning and career objectives
Demonstrated potential for artistic productivity
Ability to work with campus-based personnel and students
