PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

To ensure line efficiency and production shift targets are achieved in the most cost effective manner.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervises the activities of the production floor, and ensures the rules and regulations are followed
• Plans and assigns the duties of employees on a daily basis to ensure production targets are achieved
• Ensures the raw material stock is available for production
• Ensures maximum output and minimum waste on all lines
• Prepares production reports and analysis as required
• Liaises with relevant department personnel to ensure plant efficiency and effectiveness
• Provides employee coaching and development as required
• Ensures effective employee relations
• Analyses and resolves employee issues
• Tracks employee absenteeism and punctuality
• Ensures employees comply with the established Company policies and procedures

Requirements

• Technical Diploma in Science
• A Bachelor’s degree in Science will be an asset.
• At least 3 years working experience in manufacturing environment
• Proficient in Microsoft office suite
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of QMS or HACCP will be an asset
